Our Programs

In each of our programs, we aim to provide services that are vital to building skills relevant in today’s world. We do so through:

  • Assistive Technology
DLLF provides IT training using screen reader software, which allows blind and visually impaired persons to access and interact with computer systems. Training also includes the use of assistive technologies on mobile devices to enable users to make phone calls, access their emails, respond to messages independently and more.
  • Community Engagement
DLLF ensures that members have access to social settings and activities where they feel confident contributing meaningfully using the skills and experiences they develop while at the school. This is achieved through active advocacy efforts, awareness campaigns, and mentorship programs where students can learn from industry leaders, explore areas of growth, and acquire job-ready skills.
  • School Support and Training
One of DLLF’s goals is to ensure that the built environment offers a place for our beneficiaries to thrive. We provide regular training in mainstream schools, workplaces, and communities to educate others on eliminating the stigma surrounding Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) and to encourage inclusivity. Additionally, we offer curated training opportunities to further promote inclusivity and provide more opportunities for both service users and providers.
